2020 changed the event industry and it looks like 2021 will be likely seeing an increase in events to make up for everything that was cancelled! We went from no events, to virtual events (Hey! we know about these), to small events, aaand right back to no events. Who knows what’s next? BUT with high hopes for next year we’ve added touch-less photobooth technology to our services 👏 👏 👏 !
A big trend for 2021 will be hybrid events – events having both in-person and virtual aspects. We’ve already got you covered on the virtual photo booth side of things, so now we’ve made our in-person photo booths COVID friendly as well 😷.
Plus you won’t have to worry about dipping into your hand sanitizer stash 🧴 to use these photo booths because they’re all touchless!

Here’s 6 ways we’ve innovated the touchless technology so you can still have a photo booth to make memories at your 2021 event:
#1 No need to press start - it’s ready, set go! 🚦
With our touchless photobooth technology we can set up your booth to be in “live” mode for the duration of your event. This means the booth doesn’t have to be manually started or re-set each photo to do its thing! The way this works is a hand print will appear on the photobooth screen that will ask your guests who are using the booth to wave their hands at 👋 - then with our AR technology, the photobooth will then recognize this movement, and start the countdown timer to take the picture - it’s that easy!
#2 QR Code - Sharing is Caring
Our photo booth is “touchless” and that means the pictures are too! There are no printed photos and the pictures or videos captured are sent digitally to the user’s phone. All contact information sharing is also done directly from the user’s phone by scanning a QR code - so there is no need to enter an e-mail or phone number on our photobooth screens! By scanning the QR code with their phone, a link will populate directing the user to enter their e-mail or cell phone number to in return receive the digital image they just took at your photo booth 📲. Ta da!
#3 Receiving Your Image Directly
R.I.P. the days of holding on to multiple physical photo booth prints and having to carry them around the rest of the event. Your photo booth digital image will be sent right to your phone – making it SO easy for your guests to receive them, and then share their pictures from your event on their social pages! A digital image is no hassle for everyone involved (and environmentally friendly 😉 ) You can also add custom colours, logos, or images to brand the digital images uniquely to your event.
#4 No plus one necessary!
Did you know we also offer digital drop offs for our photobooths? We can drop off and set up your booth for you to enjoy at your event, and then pick it up once the event is over - no attendants necessary!
Our booths are super user-friendly and easy to use so this service allows you to limit the number of extra people at your event. As we already mentioned these booths are set up with touchless technology so there is no need help take or distribute photos! Although our booth butlers are 💯 when it comes to service at an event - we get that sometimes its just easier to DIY!
#5 A show stopping experience
Our 360 photo booth makes you feel like a Hollywood star🌟. The 360 camera pans around a platform forwards and backwards to create a completely rendered 360 , slow-motion, boomerang type video. The only work you need to do is stand on the platform and strike a pose!
The booth itself is like a mini production team complete with director, editor, and producer for your 360 video🎬. You also have the option to brand your video, add music, or add custom overlays like our confetti overlay! We’ve got our predictions in that 2021 is going to be the year of the 360 booth.

Although technically it isn’t “touchless” – at least you’re keeping your hands to your own device 📱! We offer virtual photobooths that can be accessed easily on any device (phone, tablet, desktop) that offer the same personalized experience to the comfort of your home! If you’re hosting a hybrid event you can still engage with your off-site guests with the same photobooth experience by having a virtual booth in addition to an on-site booth! It sucks that we can’t travel any more and that mass gatherings aren’t a thing right now (we miss you photobooth vegas convention!) - so having a virtual photo booth can still make those attendees at home feel more involved which they will appreciate!
